Our honey & products
Is your honey pure and unpasteurised?
Yes! All of our honey is 100% pure and unpasteurised. It’s lightly filtered to and never heated above hive temperatures to ensure it retains all the natural enzymes and goodness.
Where does your honey come from?
Our honey is gathered by bees right here at Swartiebank House, nestled in the Scottish Highlands. Each jar captures the unique flavour of the local wildflowers, heather, and seasons.
Why does my honey crystallise?
Crystallisation is completely natural and a sign of quality, pure, unprocessed honey. It can be gently warmed if preferred, but many love the creamy texture just as it is.
Do you sell honeycomb or beeswax candles?
We do! Depending on the season, we offer cut comb honey and a lovely range of hand-poured beeswax candles. Keep an eye on the shop – they go quickly!
Orders & delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 2–3 working days. Delivery times vary depending on your location, but we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
Do you offer local pickup or stock in local shops?
Yes, we stock a growing number of wonderful local businesses and markets across Caithness. You’ll also find us at seasonal craft fairs! Feel free to get in touch for details.
I’ve made a mistake with my order - can I change it?
No worries – just get in touch as soon as you can. If we haven’t packed your parcel yet, we’ll do our best to help make it right.
